Sad Announcement

It is with deep regret and sadness that we have to inform you that our friend and colleague Philip Webb died at his home in Rostov, Russia, on Friday 22 April 2016 at 05:00 and was buried on Saturday 23 April 2016.

Phil Webb started his long and outstanding engineering career after leaving Aston University in 1966 and has worked for FTL since 1998; primarily as our Product Development Manager and later, with his vast knowledge in the foundry plant processes, he was given the role of Overseas Business Development Manager taking us in to many new markets and in particular Russia where Phil earned great respect from many well-known foundries.

Phil moved to Russia in 2010 to live and continue to work for FTL through our Agent Yuri Muravyev (Rodonit) until his death.

Phil had been ill for several months but his death still came as a shock to us all.  He will be deeply missed by all at FTL and his many friends and colleagues in the UK and around the world.
